Why need supporting document such as a visa or residence for Turkey Visa

By Queen Mother Feb 22,2022

Hello there, I am writing this message concerning the cancellation of my visa application. I would like to enquire for further explanations as to why you need a supporting document such as a visa or residence permit from the Schengen, US, UK, or Ireland for Turkey Visa.

I am applying for a tourist visa to spend a few days in Turkey and return to Ghana.

Kindly please explain to me so that in my next application, I would have a clear view and understanding before submitting it to your esteemed office. Best regards

The Turkish Electronic Visa (e Visa) application system was launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey on 17 April 2013. This system allows visitors traveling to Turkey to easily obtain their e-Visa online in about 3 -5 minutes.

Foreigners wishing to visit Turkey for tourism, business or holiday purposes can apply for a 24/7 visa at any time. To apply for a visa, they must fill out the Turkey Visa Application Form, which will require specific personal and travel information. This includes entering your personal details, passport details, email address and paying the visa fee online. Once the applicant has paid the visa fee using a debit or credit card, the visa application process will begin immediately.
