Consular Services:
These consulate services are listed below:
In case you want to apply for an identity card, report about your lost or stolen Turkey ID card, or need to edit or change your particulars on the Identity verification card, consult the high commission.
Remember that passport applications take at least six weeks to process. Dual nationals must declare the other nationality before applying for the renewal of their Turkey passport. If you want to regain Turkish citizenship, wait until the completion of the regaining process. Furthermore, passports are delivered to the applicant via postal services, and there's no need to visit the high commission.
In the wake of the pandemic, visitors are requested to provide a registered, secure, and trackable envelope with their full address and pre-paid postage stamps to receive their sensitive documents via post. The envelope must indicate the applicant's full name and postal code while having enough return postage. Moreover, anyone visiting the Turkish Embassy in Washington must abide by the necessary SOPs, wear a mask, and comply with social distancing rules
Visa Services:
Remember that single-entry visa can be obtained for tourism and business purposes whereas diplomatic official visa is only for people traveling to Turkey on official duty. A multiple-entry visa is issued to British citizens only, and other citizens' applications are diverted to the immigration headquarters for further processing. To obtain an entry permit for a brief stop-over in Turkey or an overnight stay, you need to apply for a transit visa. The East African visa is a multiple-entry visa granted to tourists visiting Turkey, Rwanda, and Uganda. Referred visas are issued to members of certain countries. The immigration services director approves their visas.
Please note that applications submitted without complete support documents will not be processed. It may take up to three business days for the embassy to process your visa application.

Dear Your excellency, I am from import, export and trading company in US. I want to import dry whole milk powder products for US market. Can I get contact details of (1) commercial section /counsellor of Turkey embassy in Washington DC (2) exporters of these products in Turkey (3) chamber of commerce in Turkey Best regards, Dr. Caesar
Hello, My name is Elsa I applied for Turkey Visa (REFERENCE CODE: 326128014158191). I am planning to travel on July 23/2022 and will be back to the US on August 13/2022 but the earliest appointment am getting is August 11/2022. Because of the below, reasons am humbly asking you to expedite my case and grant me the visa before July 23/2022. I haven't seen my son for the past 5 and a half years and now I got a US travel document and wanted to travel to turkey to see my son. My son lives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and he has Turkey Visa but his visa is expiring on August 2/2022. If I don't go before August 2/2022 I can't meet him. Second, the company where am working in the United States approve my time off from July 23 to August 13/2022 so, I should be back to work on August 15/2022. Considering all the situations I kindly request you to grant me a Turkey visa before July 23/2022. Keeping forward to hearing from you. Thank you!
I am a Pakistani citizen, having a valid US student visa on my passport. I will be in Turkey on 10th of May and as well as on 27th of May. On 10th May, I would not be leaving the airport, but on 27th May, I would be leaving the airport to visit Turkey for around 3 days as I am having a transit duration of 80 hours in Turkey. I want to ask if I can apply for the E-Visa now for 28th May arrival? My concern is that the E-Visa offers only a single entry for Pakistani citizens, so since my first entry is on 10th May, although I won't be leaving the airport at that time, will that first entry count on 10th of May for me or will it be on 28th May? Looking forward to your reply.
Hi I'm looking to apply for a visa for turkey but my passport is expiring in less than 5 months. can I pay a fee that lets me do the visa even though my expiry date is less than 5 months? keeping in mind that I only need a single entry and already have my flight back in a few days from my arrival. Does a fee for such a situation exist?
I'm a US citizen, applied for e-visa today, and tried 3 different credit cards but all of them declined although all of them are valid. Any suggestions? And can i get my visa at the point of entry i.e at the Turkish airport instead of the online process? Thanks
Good Morning! My husband and I just received our visas for later this month and I had a couple of questions on the start dates. My reference number is EX8-TY93. We’re coming in via a cruise, so my visa starts on May 5th. However, we have a stop in Bodrum on May 3rd and Kusadasi on May 4th, returning to the boat each evening. However, I recall reading somewhere that days visits from a cruise did not require a visa? My visa will be valid when we disembark in Istanbul but I just wanted to verify that I was covered for our shore trips on May 3rd and May 4th. My second question is regarding my husband’s visa, His reference number is 7Y5-RXTX. When purchasing, he mistakenly selected June instead of May. Is it possible to reissue his visa for the correct month? Thank you so much for your help. We were just in Turkey last September and will be back this September as well. We love any opportunity to visit your beautiful country! Best regards,
