The visa permit is generally stamped on the passport or other travel documents. But due to digitalization of the world e-Visa is more popular now-a-days. To obtain an e-Visa one is required to fill up an application form online. There are different kinds of visas depending on the purpose of traveling. A tourist/businessperson visa is generally granted to a person who wants to stay in Turkey for less than 90 days and has an aim to carry out business related activities which might include seminars, meetings and/or conferences on the land of Turkey. Turkish Electronic Visa (e-Visa) is a quick, easy and 24/7 online visa procedure offered by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the citizens of over 95 countries. e-Visa system allows tourists and businessmen to obtain visas online, without having to wait in queues and collect documents.
To get your e-Visa, follow these 3 steps; first, go to the e-Visa page and fill in the Turkey eVisa application form and send it; Then, make your payment online with your credit or debit card and finally download your e-Visa using the link sent to your e-mail address.
Please do not forget that e-Visa is only valid for visits with touristic and business purposes. If you have any other purpose of trip, you need to apply to a Turkish consular office in person. You can proceed to e-Visa page by clicking on “Proceed with e-Visa” button below.

- If you have an invitation letter from person (s) in Turkey, before submitting your invitation to Turkish consulate, make sure that the letter includes the inviting person's TR Identity / Citizenship Number, detailed personal identification, the list of invitees, permanent addresses, contact numbers, length and purpose of stay and inviting person's affinity with the applicant. If the inviting side is an organization or a company, tax registration certificate of the organization will be required, the inviting organization / authority is required to provide assurances for covering food and accommodation expenses. The applicant is required to have sufficient and / or regular remunerations.
