Citizens of Egypt can apply for a Turkish e Visa electronically. It can save them ample time and effort since the application is one hundred percent online.

Egypt is under the criteria of Turkish conditional e-Visa, which incites the eligibility of a foreigner to get a travel permit. Like other countries under the bracket under conditional e Visa, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs allows Egyptians to have 180 days visa validity. Egyptian travelers should be aware of the Turkish e-Visa policy. Eligible citizens of Egypt must utilize a month of stay in Turkey within the 180-days validity of their travel permit.

Egyptians can apply for a Turkish e Visa a week before their scheduled flight to Turkey, and they should own a passport (valid within six months), secured email address, and payment for the processing fee. The applicant must choose Egypt as their country of origin and select the type of travel document they plan to use in their travel. Egyptian travelers have to share their personal information, passport details, and travel itinerary with accuracy once they fill out the form.  Turkish E-Visa Policy For Egyptians

Travelers from Egypt can get a Turkey e Visa if they visit the country for business activities and tourism. Meanwhile, other types of visas still require a personal engagement to a Consulate or embassy due to its stringent procedure. Hence, citizens of Egypt who need permanent resident visas, research visas, employment visas, or educational visas should go to the Turkish Office near their area.

Egyptians can fly to Turkey through their national flag carrier – Egypt Air, and Turkish aviation partners – Atlas Global Airlines, Onur Air, Pegasus Airlines, and Turkish Airlines.

Travelers from Egypt have to present a statement of account or proof of income to determine financial capacity during their travel. Turkey requires at least 50USD per day for each individual. Egyptians must have a confirmed hotel booking as part of the supporting document.

Travelers from Egypt have a maximum of 30 days to enjoy their visit to Turkey. If they need to extend Turkey visa to stay in Turkey, Egyptians should visit the Turkish Police Station and submit a formal request. The visa extension process is not available in the portal.

Egyptians may pay additional fees upon submitting a request, and the prices may vary depending on the Police District. Extension without prior notice has consequences and may be subject to trial. It could lead Egyptian travelers to pay penalties or get banned.

 COVID-19 Travel Requirement For International Passengers

As Turkey Government expects a gradual normalization of their locality, the Turkish Ministry of Health remains strict with additional requirements for incoming international travelers (PCR Test Applications for Passengers Arriving to Turkey) . The current travel advisory mandates all foreign passengers to undergo the SARS‑COV‑2 PCR test. Egyptian travelers ages six years and above need to present an authentic negative certificate before successful onboarding. The test should occur seventy-two hours or less before the intended travel date to Turkey. Otherwise, the airline crew has the right to restrict passengers from onboarding the plane. The SARS‑COV‑2 PCR test will remain as a mandatory travel document until further notice from the Government of Turkey.
